Where this data comes from
The classic game draws real photos from our Cloudflare D1 dataset: 20,580 images across 120 breeds. Each round offers the correct breed plus three randomly selected alternatives.
When a player answers, BreedGuessr records the breed shown, selected answer, and whether it was correct in PostHog. This page uses aggregate counts only; it does not publish player profiles or individual game histories.
Important limitation: a wrong choice only tells us what someone selected from the three alternatives they were offered. It is evidence of confusion in that round, not a controlled head-to-head comparison between every breed pair.
